Naltrexone-Bupropion is a fixed-dose combination pharmacotherapy for chronic weight management. Naltrexone (an opioid antagonist) blocks beta-endorphin-mediated inhibition of POMC neurons, while bupropion (a dopamine/norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor) stimulates POMC production — together enhancing satiety signalling.
